I used to post here frequently, well not as frequent as some, but you know. I’m wondering why I slacked off. I don’t really know. I suppose I could kick it back up again. I used to do all kinds of stuff here.

My nose is stuffed up.
I cleaned out the garage the other day and kicked up a lot of old pollen and dust that had settled on some boxes.
I’ve gone the netti pot route and its still too closed on one side to go through.

Orenda. Read it.

The Secret of OrendaThe Secret of Orenda by Whitley Strieber

Look, I have to say that this book was very difficult for me to read. I wasn’t so much that you start of really disliking the lead character, who turns out to be a pretty great character, but it’s that you want this to really happen, and you want this to be the kind of country that really wouldn’t react quite this way. You want to save the people of Orenda. You want to keep the world out to preserve them, and keep them safe. By the end you’d almost give your all for Mary to make it all turn out.

What do you think you would do if an unconquered Indian tribe were found in America and it was just you who could keep the hoards at bay?

I’ve figured out something very interesting about myself and all the cookies I’ve been having lately. What I really want is the crunchy… Not necessarily the cookieness of them. Thinking if healthier crunchy snacks now…

When life gets too silly, it’s time to put on the fez.
